Massimo Tessari

I was born in Gorizia in 1961. In 1983, I moved to Venice to study languages at Ca’ Foscari University.

I completed my studies in 1989, specializing in German Studies, with a thesis on German history at the beginning of the twentieth century, and decided to remain in Venice so I could continue living in this wonderful city.

In addition to German and Italian, I speak English and Portuguese. I have worked in tourism for many years; after university, I spent 18 years working as a concierge at Hotel Cipriani.

Driven by a deep passion for Venetian art and history, I passed the examination to become an official tour guide in Venice in 2009. Today I devote myself to this vocation full time, inviting you to discover this unique city through tours that reveal Venice in a truly special way.

I am married and have a daughter.
